Pockie Ninja Classic is a free online game run by the Pockie Ninja Classic team ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect when you use the website, the game, the Windows app and the Android app, why, and what you can do about it. Questions: [email protected].
What we collect
- Your account: your e-mail address, your password (stored only as a one-way hash, never readable), whether you confirmed the e-mail, and when the account was made.
- Google or Discord sign-in, if you choose to use it: that service's id for your account and a name to show for it (your Google e-mail or your Discord name). We never get your Google or Discord password.
- Your game: your characters and everything about them (level, items, gold, friends, clan, mail), and the chat messages you send. Chat is kept so that moderators can act on reports.
- Purchases: when you buy gold, Stripe takes the payment. We keep what you bought, the price, the currency, the status and Stripe's reference. We never see or store your card details.
- Device and connection: which kind of device you play on (Windows app, Android app, or a browser on a computer or a phone) and when, and your IP address, which we use to stop abuse such as repeated failed logins. Our servers' logs may hold your IP address and browser details for a short time.
- Messages to us: whatever you send to support.
Why we use it
- To run the game and your account: sign-in, e-mail codes, password resets, saving your progress.
- To deliver what you buy, and to handle refunds and payment disputes.
- To keep the game fair and safe: moderation, finding cheating and abuse, and bans.
- To send e-mail about your account (codes, password resets) and important notices about the service.
We do not sell your data. We do not show ads and do not use advertising or analytics trackers.
Who we share it with
Only with the services that run the game for us, and only what each one needs:
- Cloudflare: our network and file delivery, and Turnstile, the check that you are not a bot at sign-up and login (it processes your IP address and browser details).
- Stripe: payments for gold.
- Google and Discord: only if you sign in or link your account with them. If you link Discord, our Discord bot can see which game account your Discord account belongs to.
- Our hosting and e-mail providers: they store our servers' data and deliver our e-mail.
We may also share data when the law requires it, or to protect players and the service from fraud or abuse. Our servers and these services may be in a country other than yours.
On your device
The website and apps keep your sign-in and your settings (language, sound, window positions) in your browser's local storage. We use no tracking cookies. Stripe's payment page and Cloudflare's check may set their own cookies, needed for them to work.
How long we keep it
Your account and game data are kept while your account exists. Chat and moderation records are kept as long as they are needed for moderation. Payment records are kept as long as accounting and tax law require, even after an account is deleted. Server logs are kept for a short time only.
Your choices and rights
- You can change your e-mail and password, and link or unlink Google and Discord, under My Account.
- You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete it, by e-mail to [email protected].
- Depending on where you live, you may have more rights under your local law (for example the GDPR); write to us and we will help.
Deleting your account
To delete your account, e-mail [email protected] from the e-mail address of your account with the subject "Delete my account". We may ask you to confirm. Within 30 days we delete your account, your characters on every server, and your linked Google and Discord sign-ins. We keep only what the law requires us to keep, such as payment records. A deleted account can't be restored.
Children
Pockie Ninja Classic is not meant for children under 13, and they may not make an account. Players under 18 need a parent's or guardian's permission. If we learn that a child under 13 has an account, we delete it. Parents can reach us at [email protected].
Security
Passwords are stored only as hashes, and the website and apps talk to our servers over encrypted connections (HTTPS). No system is perfectly secure, so please use a password you don't use anywhere else.
Changes
When this policy changes, we update this page and its date. Important changes are also announced in the game's news.
